Recognizing the best practices for initiatives in Learning and Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Sales Performance, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and the Future of Work, the Brandon Hall Group™ HCM Excellence Awards® honored Cross River with a Bronze for its Manager Development Program. In 2023, Cross River won the Bronze Award for Best New Hire Onboarding Program for its ‘I am CR,’ and in 2022, the Company received the Gold Award in Leadership Development for its Leadership Summits.

Replete with studies, research, philosophy, real life stories, and cross-industry trends, Cross River’s Manager Development Program built eight critical people-management skills and provided guided tools for managers to better improve performance, communication, delegation, efficiency, inter/intra departmental collaboration, accountability, and overall leadership qualities like empathy, compassion and leading change. Concepts were interactively introduced to participants and included opportunity for reflection, discussions and incorporated assignments to be conducted in-between group lessons. Cross River Executives led by example, attending sessions and maintaining the global participation rate of 98 percent across every department and each level of management. Further, the measurable impact following the conclusion of MDP was felt by participants themselves, 87 percent of whom reported significant improvement in their skills and behaviors, as well as by their direct reports, 70 percent of whom noted a significant improvement in their direct manager’s skills and behaviors.

Entries were evaluated by a panel of veteran, independent senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group analysts, and executives based on alignment with business need and environment; program design, functionality and delivery; adoption, integration, user experience, innovation and creativity; and overall effectiveness, impact and measurable benefits.
